An experience of singing: Mohammed Rafi Nite (2009)
It was August 1st, 2009. This day, I can say, was one of the nicest experiences I have had in singing on stage. It was overwhelming 700 people in the audience keen and eager to listen to wonderful songs of Mohammed Rafi sahab. I was one of the lucky few who was about to perform on stage. Bangalore Gayana Samaj, Bangalore was the venue where we saw atleast 700 people jam packed inside the auditorium and many others standing outside the venue for tickets, which were already sold out. It was all exciting to me and thanks to Mr. Raj and Mr. Narayanan of the Baar Baar Rafi fan group, for giving me an opportunity of this kind. I also thank some of the pillars of the fan group, Mr. Mukund, Mr. Guru Murthy and many others for all their energetic co-operation for making the event a great success. -
